2023 Highland Hill Miniature Calves

This little stud is pretty special! We look forward to his mama, Tara’s ,calf every year. She is the most beautiful white Highland with so much hair. He is suspected chondro positive and would make an awesome herd sire. His white color will throw desirable white and silver calves with the right cows. Just look at how stout and fluffy he is! This is what we strive for. His sire is a beautiful bull from Pandarosa Mini Ranch.

Meet Macy. She is a tiny little thing, 19" tall at birth. She loves attention! This little girl is a product of my daughter's dun brindle highland and Chasin, our white highland chondro + bull. Each of our kids have their own cow that they bought themselves and the profit from the calves will go to their college fund. Tenlee is a great help on the farm, so I’m sure this little girl will be a fun loving people cow! She is confirmed chondro positive, and even the other chondro positive calves tower over her!

I spy a little shorty guy! Momma is a super hairy red highland and dad is Chasin our white highland bull. This guy would make a great herd sire. Both parents are very well put together, square bodied and straight legged, so we expect him to mature the same. His dam's calf, from last year, Nova, was a crowd favorite at our farm. So hopefully this little guy takes after his big bro! Born at 20 inches tall. Confirmed chondro positive and yellow.

She is just stunning! Everything in one little package. Short and stout with a very correct frame. And a great dun color. Her sire and dam are both from the Pandarosa Mini Ranch. Her dam is a black small framed 43“ highland. She is sired by our white highland bull, Chasin. DNA tested chondro positive

Ellie left her mark on this little heifer! She is a highland and white galloway cross. She will be polled like her dam, so if you do not want horns, she might be just what you are looking for. Her dam is full of waves of galloway hair. Just beautiful!  She is sired by our white highland bull, Chasin. Her and her mom will be shown at the county fair as my daughter‘s cow calf pair project.

This little guy has just the right markings! Yellow tipped with a lot of chrome. Dam is Drizella, a small framed yellow highland. This little fella is sired by Silver Splender, a silver tipped highpark bull. He is a high percentage highland. Chondro negative.

Look at the color on this guy! Such a unique two toned white little guy. Dam is a small frame silver highland and sire is a dun bull named Big Ridge Fergus from Elm Hollow Farms in TN. He possesses the very correct Scottish standards and passes on his very sweet temperament. He is a full-blood highland, but unregistered.

Latte had a sweet little red head! She was born on May 24th. She is sweet and sassy all in one. She has a white tip on her tail, which hopefully indicates she will be a frosted red head! If I look at this girl long enough, I will probably talk myself into keeping her!

This little shorty heifer is just darling! Mom is a very petite first calf heifer that we retained from our starter herd a couple of years ago. This amazing little chocolate calf is sired by Chasin, our chondro positive white highland bull. She is ~82% highland and 21” tall. Confirmed chondro positive. She looks a bit red in the morning sun, but she is color tested through UC Davis as a dun.

This dun colored little heifer is the sweetest! We have her dam and her grand dam and they are both beautiful fluffy highlands.  Dam is a 44” black highland and she is sired by Chasin, our chondro+ white highland bull. She is chondro negative.

This guy will be mid sized. His dam is a very stout small mid sized highland with a little lowline to shorten her up a bit. She always throws the shortest calves! We have retained one of her heifers to our herd, and she is small! Sire is our white highland bull, Chasin. Those ears will stay big and fluffy!

This little guy is as adorable as they come! Dam is a red tipped White Dexter. Sire is Chasin, white highland bull. She is our best milking cow. Rudy loves to do zoomies around his friends. He has quite the curious personality. He will likely mature mid size.He will be ready for his new home at weaning around 4 months of age.
